Book of Persian, Uzbek Proverbs Published

TEHRAN -- A book of proverbs common to both the Persian and Uzbek languages compiled by an Iranian and an Uzbek has been published by Menhaj Publishers in Tashkent.

The book consists of 400 informal proverbs, expressions, and words in Persian and Uzbek.

Iranian Ebrahim Khodayar and Uzbek Shohrat Mohammadov were the literary researchers who compiled the book over the course of one year.
